More Than a Store
At Garmany, events go beyond fashion. From our flagship BOOM charity gala to Saturday morning car shows, holiday celebrations, and intimate trunk shows with visiting designers, our 40,000-square-foot showroom transforms throughout the year into a gathering place for the community. Nearly every event benefits a charitable cause — because giving back has been part of who we are since 1974.
Flagship Event
Garmany BOOM
Our signature annual charity gala — a cocktail party like no other, held each September in Garmany's showroom to benefit the Boomer Esiason Foundation for cystic fibrosis research.
An Evening of Fashion, Philanthropy & Celebration
September · Annual Since 2016 · Benefiting the Boomer Esiason Foundation
What began as a single evening in 2016 has become Red Bank's most anticipated charity event. The inaugural BOOM raised $122,000. By 2022, it reached $185,000. The formula: transform Garmany's showroom into a cocktail party featuring celebrity chef Diane Henderiks, MC and entertainer Joe Piscopo, Diageo-sponsored bars, live and silent auctions, and appearances by NFL legends — all hosted by Boomer Esiason himself.
Cocktail Reception
Celebrity chef Diane Henderiks caters the evening. Diageo sponsors roaming bars with signature cocktails. The 40,000-square-foot showroom becomes one of New Jersey's most elegant party venues.
Live & Silent Auctions
Past auctions have featured Andy Warhol prints, at-home omakase sushi dinners for eight, Casa de Campo vacation packages, Garmany shopping sprees, signed sports memorabilia, fine jewelry, and more.
Celebrity Appearances
NFL legends Phil Simms, Wayne Chrebet, and Bart Scott have attended alongside host Boomer Esiason. Joe Piscopo performs as Master of Ceremonies. Elected officials, athletes, and community leaders fill the room.
The Cause
The Boomer Esiason Foundation was founded in 1993 when Boomer's son Gunnar was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Every dollar raised at BOOM supports CF awareness, research funding, and community support programs.

Cars & Caffeine
October · Benefiting Susan G. Komen Foundation
A morning cruise and car show in partnership with Ray Catena Auto Group during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Classic, exotic, and sports cars fill Garmany's parking lot on Broad Street while guests enjoy gourmet Nespresso coffee, continental breakfast by The Food Architects, and artisanal treats by The Vintage Cake. Donations benefit Susan G. Komen breast cancer research.
No Shave November
November · Honoring Larry Garmany · Benefiting Memorial Sloan Kettering
A month-long cancer awareness campaign honoring Garmany founder Larry Garmany, who lost his battle with cancer in 2014 and was cared for at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Staff, customers, and community members grow facial hair in solidarity with patients who lose theirs during treatment. The campaign culminates in a Shave-Off Saturday featuring complimentary classic hot shaves by Old World Shaving Parlor, good eats and beverages, and 10% of sales donated to MSK.
Shop with Santa
December · Benefiting the Tigger Stavola Foundation
Garmany's beloved holiday tradition brings families together for photos with Santa, gingerbread house building, hot cocoa and cookies by Antoinette Boulangerie, artisanal cheeses by The Cheese Cave, designer trunk shows, and raffle prizes. The event has raised over $11,000 for the Tigger Stavola Foundation, which supports addiction awareness in honor of Rick Stavola Jr. Ten percent of all sales benefit the cause.
Ladies' Night Out
Multiple Times Per Year · Open to All
An evening shopping event in our women's department — champagne, socializing, and the freedom to explore over 40 women's designer brands in a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere. As Johnell puts it: "A great event is always Ladies' Night Out — giving young mothers a chance to get out, shop, socialize, have a glass of champagne."

Trunk Shows & Tastings
Beyond our signature events, Garmany hosts intimate brand experiences throughout the year. Visiting designers bring their full collections for multi-day trunk shows. Our partners at Diageo and The Balvenie bring handcrafted whiskey tastings into the showroom. And each January, our buying team travels to Pitti Uomo in Florence and Milan's showrooms — bringing back the trends and discoveries we share through our blog and social channels.
Designer Trunk Shows
Meet visiting designers and brand representatives in person. See full collections not normally stocked, get fitted, and place special orders. Past shows have featured collaborations with brands like Aston Martin.
Whiskey Tastings
Intimate single-malt experiences with The Balvenie and other Diageo spirits. Sample handcrafted scotch while browsing the showroom — because at Garmany, the experience extends well beyond fashion.
